Joleen Thompson discovered her love for art as a young girl. When she was eleven she started taking painting lessons with Joy Descouteau (Joy Haddock). During her three years of lessons she learned oil painting, soft pastels, and pencils.
At Plymouth State University she majored in art education with a concentration in drawing. Post college Joleen taught art at Trinity Christian School. She continues to share her passion and get messy with preschoolers.
Palette knife painting has been Joleen’s newest interest. She enjoys recreating scenes and objects from nature with a love for color.
